Confidentiality & privacy The client and therapist counseling relationship is required to be held strictly confidential by California law. Client information cannot be disclosed without the client's written permission. For exceptions and additional info click here.
Does health insurance cover hypnosis, therapy and counseling? Sometimes individual and couples relationship therapy, counseling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy services are covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan, but not always. Always confirm your coverage carefully by asking the following questions of your insurance company repesentative:
- How will I be reimbursed for payments made to a “Out of Network Provider?”
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many therapy-counseling sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy-counseling session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
What are your regular session fees for hypnosis, therapy and counseling? My rates are reasonable and similar to other therapist-counselors in the Santa Rosa area, however reduced fees may be available by prearrangement based on your situation and need. Your welfare is important to me so please feel free to discuss fees with me when you call.
What is your cancellation policy? If you do not attend your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the therapy session.
What payment methods are acceptable? Cash, check, major credit cards and PayPal are accepted for payment. If you wish to make a payment now for any fees you have already incurred click here.
